Occupational Health and Safety Policy

Periscope Consulting will conduct its business in a manner that secures the safety of its operations, promotes the health, safety and well-being of employees and protects the public from any risks arising from company activities.

Key objectives of the Policy

v      Managers, executives and senior team members within Periscope will demonstrate leadership behaviours by communicating their commitment to safety by establishing and monitoring sound work practices to prevent accidents or ill health arising from working conditions.

v      Managers, executives and senior team members within Periscope will develop, publish and implement a workplace-based strategy to ensure that all physical, chemical and biological hazards in the work environment are identified and controlled, and that there is prompt investigation, control and reporting of incidents causing or having the potential to cause serious injury to people or significant damage or threat to Periscope Consulting’s assets.

v      All managers, executives and staff of Periscope Consulting are expected to comply with these strategies as well as all relevant OH&S legislation and codes of practice (state, territory and commonwealth).

v      All members of the Periscope team will receive the necessary safety training that may be required for safe completion of their duties and may be required to participate in the development and implementation of safety management programs and systems.

v      Safety performance will be subject to regular and systematic scrutiny and review via the use of the Periscope’s I.R.I.S software with a view to the development of a continuous improvement approach to workplace safety.

Periscope Consulting recognises that a safe workplace occurs as a result of the development of a positive and participative safety culture that is responsive when required but is proactive overall. Periscope Consulting is committed to the growth and maintenance of such a culture in all of its operations and offices.
